Where do I collect the motorhome from?
We will meet you at our ‘Sea Shetland’ base in Gremista, Lerwick and you can find the exact location on this map:
How do I get there?
Take the junction which leads to Ocean Kinetics opposite the power station.
Turn left at Ocean Kinetics.
Continue straight to the end of the road.
Turn right at the Shetland Garden Company.
Head to the end of the road (driving beyond Shetland Home Company) until you see a large shed with two white garage doors.
License requirements?
UK drivers: 25-79 inclusive
EU/AUS/NZ drivers: 25-70 inclusive
USA/CAN: Not covered as standard - please contact us directly before booking.

What documentation do I need?
Photo of the front and back of your driving license
2 x proofs of address (which matches the address on your driving license)
DVLA driving license check code (sent no more than 21 days prior to hire)
What’s included in the hire?
A full tank of diesel
Unlimited mileage
At least one full gas cannister of fuel
All bedding, pillows and towels
Arriving by NorthLink ferry?
NorthLink ferries leave Aberdeen daily between 1700-1900 and takes 12-14 hrs.
NorthLink ferries arrive daily in Lerwick at 0730 the following morning.
Our motorhome collection is a short 5-10 minute walk away from the ferry terminal.
Arriving by Loganair flight?
Your flight will land at Sumburgh airport, 26 miles away from our base in Lerwick.
You will need to make your way to Lerwick via bus or taxi.

How/when do I book the inter-island ferries?
You can book any of the inter-island ferries here and up to one hour prior to departure. In the busy summer months, we recommend booking 1-2 weeks in advance of travel.
What are the motorhome dimensions for travelling on the inter-island ferries?

Can you check-in early and/or check-out late?
Standard check-in time: 1400-1700
Standard check-out time: 0900-1100
